Mid-Tech Classroom

Mid-tech classrooms are “middle level” technology rooms. These rooms have an overhead transparency projector, pull-down projection screen, black board or white board, ceiling-mounted digital video projector, wallmounted speakers, and a mid-tech wall input panel. If you wish to utilize PowerPoint presentations or wish to show a movie, you will have to reserve, pick-up, and return equipment from the Audio Visual Services (AV) office. Click on the following link for our mid-tech how-to guide.

To use PowerPoint or project some other computer presentation, you will need to reserve:

•Laptop
•VGA cable
•Audio cable (if you need sound)
•DVI to VGA adapter (if using your own Mac laptop)
•Remote presenter (optional)

To show a movie you will need to reserve the below items. If you plan to show a foreign DVD, make sure to request a “region-free” player.

•RCA cable
•DVD/VCR combo player

You will need an active account in order to reserve equipment and you must
reserve equipment either by telephone or in person. E-mail reservations are
not accepted at this time.
